Now let’s find out what makes her tick.

“ How would you describe yourself?

- Quite energetic, quite a good sense of humour, enjoy life and try to make others enjoy it as much as I do!..

As somebody who sees life through a photographic lens…”

-“ What makes you get up in the morning?

All that is going to happen in the daytime and of course … walking the dog!”

-“ What is the most important lesson life has taught you?

- To be careful when I decide to do something and not to believe “Tout le monde il est beau, tout le monde il

est gentil”! (everybody’s nice, everybody’s loving”)… “

-“ If your apartment was on fire, what would you rescue apart from your loved one?

- It depends how long I would have to do it: surely first, all the photos I could find because I think if I lost them,

I would have no remains of the past, and second my CDs (all my Glenn Gould ‘s, Lugansky’s and Berezovsky’s CD:

Bach and Russian composers are my favourites at the moment… but if I had a few minutes left, I wouldn’t leave

Mozart’s and Vivaldi’s on the shelves….Just think I have more than 200 CD’s… difficult to make up my mind….”

- “What do you like most about living in France?

 We live in the most wonderful country in the world: just think…. Half an hour’s drive to the sea side, 6 hours to the nearest mountains (Auvergne), The landscape changes every 100 kms or so…. Not to forget the TGV that takes you to the centre of Paris within 2 hours. And what about the Châteaux de la Loire right at our door. I love the link between the History between France and England… It’s really interesting: my favourite period is the Middle Ages and the Elizabethan Era. I love Fontevraud where Alienor and Henry II are next to each other with their son Richard the Lion Heart. It’s such a peaceful place where every single corner is a part of our mutual heritage. She was French, he was English and they loved each other…..(sigh!)

- “What is your favourite shop in Nantes?

 Do I have one? I think I have many…..I love going to the Fnac. I can spend hours in their bookshop or in the CDs or DVDs’ departments…. I love the Nespresso shop too… I always think George Clooney will be there…(sigh!)”

- “Where do you relax in Nantes?

- I like strolling along the Erdre by Le Petit Port in Nantes to La Jonelière. Winston, my Labrador loves it. But I also often relax at the thalassothérapie in Pornic at the week-ends…”

- “Where do you like eating in Nantes?

- There are 2 places that I love going to… the first is the Brasserie du SNUC boulevard des Anglais, where I really feel at home, and the second is Le Poussin Rouge in Trentemoult,. The sight on the River at night is amazing.”

-“What made you join the KN network?

My love for England and for the British people I think… and the pleasure to speak English…..
